Show up solo, play all night

Daily open play matches you into games with players at your level. No partner needed and no group text required.

03 · YEAR-ROUND

Michigan weather, cancelled

Climate-controlled courts mean January snow, August humidity and rainy weeknights never call off your game.

04 · COMPETE

Leagues and tournaments

Get a set match schedule and a regular crew you see every week, then test yourself in tournaments across skill levels.

05 · IMPROVE

Lessons and clinics

From your very first serve to a cleaner third-shot drop, instruction is part of the plan for every level.

06 · HANG OUT

Room to stick around

A pro shop, locker rooms and lounge space make it a place to spend the evening, not just a court you book and leave.

Why Make the Trip

Indoor pickleball near Royal Oak usually means a shared gym. Not here.

If you've played indoors around Royal Oak during the winter, you know how it usually goes. Two or three courts set up inside a multi-use gym, portable nets, and court time that has to fit around everything else happening in the building. At South Oakland Family YMCA, for example, pickleball runs on two indoor gym courts with portable nets, and it's open to members.

Detroit Pickleball Club was created for a different kind of experience. The whole club exists for pickleball, so there's room to run open play, leagues, clinics and tournaments without any one program taking over the building.
