Why Ferndale Players Will Make the Trip

Everything you want from a pickleball club. Under one roof.

We built Detroit Pickleball Club for players who want more than a place to rally. Here's what's waiting for you this December.

01 / COURTS

Eight dedicated indoor courts

Courts made for pickleball and nothing else, with enough of them to run open play, leagues, clinics, and tournaments without one crowding out the other.

02 / OPEN PLAY

Daily open play

Show up solo, get matched into games, and meet players at your level. No group text, no fourth player to track down.

03 / YEAR-ROUND

Climate controlled, all year

No rain delays, no August heat, no shoveling snow before a January match. Your season runs all twelve months.

04 / COMPETITION

Leagues and tournaments

Get a set weekly schedule, a regular crew to battle, and tournaments across a range of skill levels when you're ready to test your game.

05 / COACHING

Lessons and clinics

From your very first serve to sharpening your third-shot drop, instruction and clinics will help you keep leveling up.

06 / THE CLUB

Lounge, pro shop and locker rooms

Social lounge space, luxury locker rooms, and an on-site pro shop with paddles, gear, and club merch. Come early, stay late.

Play. Connect. Belong.

The best part of your week, on repeat.

Picture a Tuesday. You leave work, head south, and you're on court before the evening gets away from you. A few competitive games, a few laughs, and a crew you'll start seeing every week.

That's what Detroit Pickleball Club is built for. Open play gets you into games fast. Leagues give you something to look forward to. And the lounge gives you a reason to stick around and talk about that one point you're still thinking about.

  • Come alone or bring your whole group
  • Games for every skill level, every day
  • A social space made for hanging out between matches
  • A community of players who take the game seriously and themselves less so

New Players Welcome

Never played? This is the perfect time to start.

Pickleball is one of the easiest sports to pick up and one of the hardest to put down. You don't need a tennis background or expensive equipment, and the basic rules are simple enough to learn in one session.

Your first game doesn't need to be pretty. It just needs to be fun.

Detroit Pickleball Club will offer beginner-friendly open play, lessons, and clinics so new players can learn the basics, meet other beginners, and build confidence quickly. Want a head start? Check out our beginner's guide to how pickleball works.

All you need is comfortable athletic clothes and court shoes. We'll take care of the rest.

More Than Pickleball

A new destination on Detroit's riverfront.

Detroit Pickleball Club is part of a roughly $6 million transformation of a historic industrial building in Rivertown. The club takes up about 24,000 square feet. The rest becomes The Foundry, a community destination planned for local businesses, food and drink concepts, wellness providers, and gathering spaces.

Come for pickleball. Find plenty of reasons to stay.
