HAVE QUESTIONS?
WE'VE GOT ANSWERS
Everything you need to know about Detroit Pickleball Club. Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out-we're happy to help!
Where is the club located?
Detroit Pickleball Club is in Rivertown, just east of downtown Detroit. The full address, directions, and parking details will be posted before opening day.
Are the courts indoors?
Yes. Everything is under one roof, so the season never stops — no rain delays, no August heat, no shoveling before a match in January. Metro Detroit players get somewhere to play all twelve months.
How many courts will there be?
Eight. That is enough room to run open play, leagues, clinics, and tournaments without any one program taking over the building.
Can beginners play here?
Yes, and plenty will. Some of our players will be picking up a paddle for the first time. Lessons, clinics, and beginner-friendly open play will all be part of the schedule.
Do I need a membership to play?
Membership options and guest-play policies will be announced before we open. The goal is to make it easy for regulars and for anyone who just wants to try the sport once.
Is there open play?
Yes. Open play is central to how the club runs. Show up without a group, get matched into games, and meet other players without organizing anything in advance.
Do you run leagues and tournaments?
Both are planned, across a range of skill levels. Leagues give you a set match schedule and a regular group of players you will see week to week. Tournaments are part of the plan as well.
What should I wear?
Comfortable athletic clothes and court-appropriate athletic shoes. You do not need specialized apparel to get started.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. You do not need to arrive with a partner or a group. Open play, leagues, and clinics all exist to get solo players into games.
Can I book a private or corporate event?
Yes. Birthdays, group outings, and celebrations on one side; team outings, client events, and company tournaments on the other. Package and booking details will follow before opening.
Will there be food and drinks?
There is more here than courts. Social and lounge space is part of the design, and we will share specifics on food and drinks closer to opening.
Is there a pro shop?
Paddles, gear, and club merchandise will be available on site. Specific brands and products will be announced before opening.
